An astute leader and a seasoned professional; Vijayalakshmi has always been a “People’s Woman”. Concerned with the plight of gullible Women and Children, started her social life at a very young age. Being a single mother for 17 odd years and with an young child in hand; many people would have not even had the “heart” to think beyond personal and societal challenges they would have been bombarded with; but Vijayalakshmi had a very different strategy… She wanted to ensure that no “Mother” should undergo these challenges and started campaigning about “Positive Living despite Challenges”. Daughter of Late Devarajan who was serving public actively in Redhills, a person deeply inspired by Thiru.Kamarajar teachings & a staunch follower of his principles. Mom was Inspiration, her name is Dayavathi, she helps needy people. Currently working as an Director in an IT company. Daughter P.Lohitha studying in Velammal School, Mogappair in XIth  standard and a State basketball player.

Public Accomplishments

·       Travelled across 35 Colleges and enhanced skills of many youngsters and helped them get employed out of which 20 were Women’s college. Have addressed more than 20000 students till date.

·       Helped over 400 women get employment opportunities.

·       Identified physically challenged women and kindled their entrepreneurial spirit to set up small businesses.

·       Actively participated in the recent flood relief camps with family members and travelled across Chennai to provide assistance.

·       Have been helping spastic children through various sources.

·       Currenlty into signing petition campaign to Stop Rape or immediate punishment for Rapist.

·       Have launched Womens Marathon, which had a motto of save women.

·   Led the Human Resource initiatives to increase the organization’s manpower from 6 to 40

At Trimentus Technologies:

·  Identified, evaluated, and developed 12 new franchisees which led to an increase of 

   80% in the overall turnover

·  Used innovative relationship management skills to close 23+ institutional as well as 

   corporate orders.

At Aptech Limited:

  · Award for the conceptualizing and implementing new & innovative branding techniques in 1997

·   Country Topper Award and a cash prize of INR 25,000 for achieving outstanding growth

·   Implemented intuitive business development strategies that helped in achieving a

    growth of 120%

·  Liaised with the concerned officials to become an authorised Pearson Vue Testing centre.
